Can you answer Answer Givererer.’s question about Photography?:
I’m an amateur photographer. As in, I don’t wish to take it up as a career, but I absolutely loooooooooooooove photography. The thing is, I need to buy a new camera for photography, but I’m not sure which one to get. Someone help me out please.

Photography Feedback: canon rebel!!!! seriously, it works wonders.
Photography Feedback: If your really keen on photography then it has to be a DSLR, any brand, just get the best deal you can. Some of the more popular brands are a bit of a rip off, cashing in on their own expensive publicity, that you pay for.
That’s what we all ended up using eventually, might as well save some money in the long run and go for it now. As your experience/knowledge grows you will ‘grow into’ what a DSLR can do. (Which is pretty much anything you want it to)

Photography Feedback: I would go with a very basic camera that sets the standard for image quality.
I heartily recommend a Mamiya RZ67.
And if you have a little bit more money it is tough to beat the Hasselblad 500 C/M. Famous for it’s creamy, exquisite tonal graduation and juicy color rendition.
Photography Feedback: If you are serious about photography and plan on going pro someday then get a DSLR. Most photography schools require that you have a DSLR. We use the Canon Rebel XTi at the Art Institute. It’s a great camera and the price has dropped a lot since the newer version (the XSi) will be coming out soon. I’ve had mine for about 2 years now, and I still absolutely love it.

Photography Feedback: depends on what kind of camera you want. do you want a professional camera? or a little point and shoot.
point and shoot- CANON POWERSHOT. its great and i have taken my best pictures with it. people dont believe me.

Photography Feedback: I have Nikon D50 and you can buy a flash SB-600 for additional lighting. It’s great and you can see the pictures instantly on your lcd screen. also it has a quick recovery time so that you can shoot outdoor photos continuasly like a regular film camera, unlike the cheaper ones that you have to wait for it to reload. Good luck finding a camera!
Photography Feedback: If depends on how much you are willing to spend. For an entry level DSLR I would recommend the Rebel XTI or Nikon D40. Also I would invest in a better quality lens than the stock one. Try to get one with a wide aperture and image stabilization if you can afford it. Think of what subjects you like to photograph when considering what lens to buy. I always keep a wide angle lens, a 50mm fixed lens and a 70-200 f2.8L in my bag. These will allow you great flexibility but they are expensive.
